Notes:
1. The course is certified and accurately measured with a Jones Counter and bicycle. It is comprised of 4, 5, 8 or 10 laps of a 10 kilometre circuit plus 470 metres at the start of 80K to make the exact 50 Mile distance.
2. This 18th edition of the race saw ideal warm and overcast conditions with the temperature varying between 7 and 17 degrees throughout the day
3. Thirty-nine (39) participants registered for the 2005 event, thirty-six (36) started and thirty-two (32) finished in all four ultramarathon divisions.

1st pace master, by a good chunk to Doris Dubricki, Bob wall won by about 50 mins..Thanks for the pacing you guys, I just ran out of gas, and had to settle for Jackal training pace (6 min K) ,Mind you if I had chosen a more consevative 55 min pace per lap I would probably finished about 15 mins quicker, but it wouldn't have affected the placing.Bob W was solid I was a bit flaky, but that's cool...
