Scorched Soul 50 mile race

Mike Labelle,last year's 50K winner,(one time resident of,could probably help me out here...
I see from the website that the 50 miler has an additional 30K added to the 50K course.
Do we run on the Kettle Valley tressels and through the tunnels?
I am thinking of doing this race at slightly quicker than 100 mile pace, and figure on running that day for about 10 hours.
How do you train for a ten hour race?
The same way you train for any race over 50K.
Stay healthy, forget pace per kilometre, and run at least 10 hours a week. Preferably not less than three hour runs towards the last weeks.
Eat rest and sleep for the taper week as you will be running your week in one session.
