Lambrick Park (no bells no whistles)

Carlos 'the Running Jackal' heads to Lambrick Park for a planned four-lap run of approximately eight kilometres on a crisp autumn morning. He reflects on streamlining his podcast output, trimming his midweek episodes to the essentials while keeping the fuller experience for his Sunday show and archiving older material on YouTube. Along the way, he chats about hiking poles, encounters fellow park users and dogs, and marvels at how the footpath has apparently repaired itself after the removal of two leaning cottonwood trees. He also discusses his aching hip, irregular sleep and the freedom of running without Samantha constantly reminding him to slow down, choosing his own walk breaks as his heart rate climbs. As the autumn colours emerge around the park, Carlos brings this deliberately pared-down episode to a close, embracing a simpler approach to both podcasting and running.
