Cascade Crest 100 miler

This year was not to be.

I ran well, felt good for 20 hours did 75 miles and managed to get well off course fell in Mineral creek up to my chest and had to bush whack for 90 minutes.
Fortunately for me someone else took the wrong turn at Mineral Creek and heard me yelling!
I was cut and brused to buggery and very sad. T thought I was going to die out there!
By the time we got back on track and to the aide station I was close to missing the cut.
John carried on, but I was hurting,bleeding and depressed.
Still, I'm fine now.
